During a game on August 7, 1982, Red Sox star Jim Rice rushed into the stands to save 4 year old Jonathan Keane after a line drive off Dave Stapleton's bat struck his head. Carrying the bleeding boy to the team’s medical staff, Rice’s swift and selfless actions ensured he received life saving care.
