I dig it. Perfect for the Fifth Doctor. Big Finish did a lot more of this in their first decade - some sci fi humor mixed with a morality tale.

Gen X-er here. Late 70s and I was a toddler. Treatment for respiratory illnesses back then. I have strange memories of looking at people through plastic sheeting while drifting in and out of consciousness

In my case, yes. One of my earliest memories was being sick in an oxygen tent, and possibly having an OBE.
