Lynda and I met up for coffee at a new spot that just opened in our neighborhood. It’s so important to surround yourself with like-minded, optimistic people in times like these—Lynda is truly a gem and such a good friend. ☕💛

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for our end-of-season Community Garden Clean-Up! A huge thank-you to Katie! With everyone’s teamwork, we accomplished so much, and our garden is now officially tucked in and ready for the Chicago winter months ahead.

I had dinner and Greektown tonight with my two best friends, Kim and Jim! We were celebrating a recent birthday I had.

Enjoying a belated birthday brunch with friends, Jan and Lynda! I’m wearing the whistle I got from Church this morning around my neck. This is to blow if I see ICE agents in my presence to alert others. Both Lynda and Jan are such good friends, we met years ago in our community garden.

Nature is my art —and today’s flowers make me happy. I stopped by Garden plot before work this morning and took time to observe these two beauties. 🌺 🌼
