Thank you. Hope you have a good 2025 as well .

I've been experimenting with Knime over the break, and it seems to be better at running SQL in-db. You can run multi-statement queries, set variables, ddl.

I go back on Jan 2nd.

It's not an echo chamber, that's an easy out. People may very well have made the decision in the way you described it, doesn't make it logical.

As you pointed to Gaza, is the new administration expected to be comparably bad, or worse? Absolutely. What was gained?
December 21, 2024 at 8:18 AM
Surely, you realize that none of your responses so far are logical?

There isn't a single clear cut issue you've noted. Every single issue you've raised is a choice between a 💩 sandwich and a 💩 salad, and I'm going to reject this 💩 for that 💩.

If A and B kicked you, like no increase in the minimum wage under both parties, and you go with A while giving the reason that B kicked you, that does not compute.

If we work backwards, republicans won the presidency, the house and the senate in 2024?

A GLOBAL financial crisis was a festering issue across multiple democrat and republican administrations and hit in 07-08?

The fix is Obama's fault, but we'll vote for the other side that also had a hand in it?
December 20, 2024 at 7:01 AM
Statement A and Statement B doesn't really have a through line. Someone feels the DNC is taking them for granted because of something like a global financial crisis that happened more than a decade ago? 🤔
December 19, 2024 at 11:03 PM
The president from 2016-2020 raised min. wage?

The GLOBAL financial crisis was Obama's fault, and thus Kamala's fault?

A promise to reduce grocery prices helped, but now it will be very hard to reduce and will still help them?

Mismanage a pandemic and expect to see no effects?

Yup, very elitist.

I'm an accountant who does analytics for finance now. There are ways to leverage the finance knowledge in other ways.

Headline
Daniel Penny found not guilty in NYC subway chokehold death of Jordan Neely

Excerpt
After police arrived, officers administered Narcan to Neely, performed CPR and used an AED, but were unable to revive him. Neely was pronounced dead at the scene.

Great research guys.

What was that announcement?
December 9, 2024 at 8:21 PM
A dead man on the ground and the man accused of killing him on video with his arms wrapped around his head kind of no evidence?
December 9, 2024 at 8:19 PM
I had a recent request at work which was an obvious waste of time. I had two people tell me it's easier to just fulfil the request than push back. My answer both times was, no!

I refuse to have people deliberately waste my time, and I will always point out where my time isn't being respected.

I use Alteryx and Snowflake together. Snowflake does a lot of the summarising upfront which makes life a lot easier downstream in Alteryx

Thinking of tackling certification soon?

What are you trying to do with the dates?
December 6, 2024 at 7:09 PM
You should try Excel 🥴

People make time for whatever, and whomever, is important to them. If someone can't find the time, something, or someone, is above you in the hierarchy of importance.
November 30, 2024 at 8:49 AM
When that happens, I feel like I was born in the 80s 😄
