Omg, a couple years ago, I got that copy of El Topo for my barfly buddy Steve who’s in his mid 70s. It’s one of his fav films. Had a great interview with Jodorowsky. Found it on Etsy from a bookstore in SF. Gave me a great deal on it.

My rule was one funko for home (Grogu) and one funko for work (Venkman) only for each person. Funkos way oversaturated the market. The product itself couldn’t evolve either.

Read in one sitting. Absolute banger! Made me want to find a new apt & do a little light B&E. It’s an oversimplification to say it’s a gory action packed thriller. The supernatural feel real & familiar. You can smell the caustic chemicals, the gunpowder, & I’m always hungry after reading your work.
