A good question! I would generally say that immigrants are underrepresented in publishing, if that's you. Otherwise, I leave it up to you to decide if being underrepped has been your experience - I don't feel I'm the final judge of that! :)

Adult fiction - cozy mysteries, grounded fantasy, and romantic suspense helmed by BIPOC protagonists. Adult nonfiction - cookbooks, and nonfiction that's advocacy x the following (but not limited to): sports/exercise, health/ fitness, nutrition, medicine, and animals.

In MG and YA I love gutsy, messy main characters in a layered narrative--bonus if there are sports, unique hobbies, or world-saving involved. I'm open to all genres in MG and YA, but prefer gutsy contemporary and grounded fantasy, horror, and mystery with a strong sense of adventure.
