The worst part of making myself go to the gym isn’t that I dislike exercising… I just reeeeeeeeally hate wearing socks.

Self-defense tip: tell all your worst puns and jokes in situations where people can’t smack you, but you can still hear the groans.

The chickens aren’t happy about the cold snap, but they’re doing just fine. They’re also spoiled babies who got their snacks inside the coop today (including some freeze-dried sweetcorn I had bought for myself). We’re all just biding our time until spring, when I will plant extra tomatoes for them.🐔

Chicken math is real, even if they’re just crocheted. 🐔🧶 I kept one set and gave the other to my sister’s kiddos.

I’m finishing up a crochet project and cut half a dozen pieces of fluffy red blanket yarn. 🧶 Of course, now I’m having fleeting moments of panic when I see little red spots on the cat, in the bathroom, etc.

About a third of the knitting/crochet pattern ideas in my design journal involve poultry, much to the surprise of nobody who has interacted with me since 2020. 🧶🐔

I don’t know how active I’ll be on this new platform, but enjoy my latest finished crochet project. 🧶
