It's not that school systems value "Grades" (as an indication of learning), it's that they value "pass rates". Cheating and AI allows both students and school systems to achieve their goals... neither of which is "Learning"!
When Students cheat on Exams — using AI or by any other means — they do so because School Systems value Grades more than Students value Learning.
