I paid $150 per bc250 (bought 4) which is fine for me. People make the mistake by calculating value based on its previous price which is wrong. You should always price it against competing hardware with the same purpose. To me the price to performance of the BC250 as a Steam Machine is stupendous.

Bro I have bought some (4 to be exact) but I am not technical. I just wish there was a 3D printed case I could download that would allow for an Integrated power supply. There is a guy selling a 3D printer case for $120 which is nearly the price of a single board.

Valve is literally dumpster diving in AMD’s inventory in order to get value for a cheap price. These memory prices have made it pointless in my eyes for now.

There may be a silver lining. If they delay it by a year they can maybe update the specs and get a laptop GPU that has 12gb of VRAM. I’m really trying to see a positive in this situation.
