The (unelected) LGBT+ Labour committee continuing to suck up to ministers complicit in removing rights and dignities from trans people.

A striking contrast to other parties' LGBT+ wings, like @pluslibdems.bsky.social, who recently publicly stood up to their party's capitulation to transphobes.

Getting this one ready in anticipation.

I think this response by Keira Knightley is probably *more* infuriating and contemptuous than if she'd just said "I simply don't care, I did it for the money."

While the TERFs are stuck outside in the rain, this stall is right inside the entrance of the Green Party conference.

While actual LGBT+ campaigners protest at conference against Labour's transphobia, LGBT+ Labour's (I believe currently unelected) co-chair welcomes transphobe-in-chief Wes Streeting to their event and poses for smiling photos with him.

I know it's not exactly news by this stage, but I can't help find something morbidly fascinating about LGBT+ Labour's craven uselessness in the face of this wildly transphobic government. This is the first thing they've posted in 2 months.

Bailey supported Bridget Phillipson for deputy leader btw.

Had a fun Southampton Pride march leafleting against our awful government, dancing to disco music and chanting “trans rights are human rights”.

Updated: Starmer’s Labour: The most anti-LGBT+ govt since Thatcher. A list of the awful things they've done and said regarding LGBT+ people, especially trans people.

The most anti-LGBT+ government since Thatcher? As comprehensive a list as I've been able to put together of awful things that Starmer's Labour have done to, or said about, LGBT+ people. Did I miss anything?

From the latest LGBT+ Labour newsletter. How could anyone write this with a straight face?

The govt is itself engaging in anti-LGBT+ hate, not committed to tackling it. And most LGBT+ Labour patrons have stood silently by while it does so. Some, like the odious Streeting, are active participants.

Huge turnout for the trans rights march in Southampton today, one of the biggest protests I’ve ever seen in the city.

And I had another opportunity to wear my T-shirt, which has sadly remained all too topical for the last seven years.

When you are gender-critical and definitely not homophobic.

(From a formerly left-wing acquaintance who’s been massively radicalised in the past few years)

I mean … what do you even say to someone who can now post something like this without a trace of embarrassment?

Another day, another mistranslation of “irritiert” as “irritated” in the British press.
