I really have no idea who sees anything I post on here, but any Olympia folks following along are invited to this art opening tomorrow night! We’ve got over 80 7-inch square collages related to themes of Dissent, Organize, Hope & Rage, and Renewal.

Went to an amazing show this weekend… this was one of many highlights. Longstocking and friends throwing shirts out to the audience. 🥹 #queercore #thekidsaregrown

Hey Olympia! This rad sale is tomorrow. I may be biased because I planned the whole event, but I think it’s a particularly cozy and quality affair. 💝

Peak PNW shoe situation tonight… seven pairs of pull-on boots worn to a party by seven different people who didn’t consult with each other first. Backpack feature featured as a bonus PNW fashion choice. 😂

I’m learning how to use our new gigantic Chandler & Price treadle press, and I just had an evening of fail. It’s hard getting the rhythm down- grab a printed card out and put an unprinted card in while using a foot treadle. I also couldn’t get the cards to print straight. 😩 Try try again tomorrow.

I was organizing broadsides yesterday in the Evergreen State College Library’s James F Holly Rare Books collection (a mouthful!). These two letterpress prints jumped out at me as particularly delightful. I’ve always been a Richard Brautigan fan, and it looks like I’m a Charles Goodrich fan now too.

Olympia folks, come meet Hope on Sunday evening! Good opportunity to check out our scrappy print shop, too.

Today in the Evergreen Library Rare Books room- this cool zine. Description from Anagram Books: “focuses on a 60 year old Anarchist who makes radical zines that are mostly sent to prisoners, and also includes some of the art that prisoners have sent them.”

My friend Dory and I made wrapping paper today at Community Print, the entirely volunteer-run print shop that I manage in downtown Olympia. There will be a lot of wrapping paper printing over the next few weeks as we get ready for a flurry of craft sales. Let me know if you wanna come help!
