Me and my friends are reading books together. 
We write comments for each other and draw doodles sometimes. 
Reading like that feels very different. Its so much fun. I highly recommend it! 😊

I can´t believe how patient I am with this project. But I am feeling a bit uneasy though, since I don´t know how the print will look like in the end. For now it feels like it will be terrible... oh boy!

Im using this lino for practising now.
Its a lino with all the cleaned up black lines smudged up with blue ink. The illustration is hardly visible. The second stage of the lino after trying to save the black lines. Everything is smudged and less visible. Its a mess! I decided to make the best of it and use the lino for my first carving tries. The carvings are wobbly and I slipped up sometimes...

I started my Shikoku Henro (my Japan Pilgrimage) Comic. This will be a looong project but I am very excited to work on it.
No time to be afraid. Just doing it! Just having fun with it!

I miss Japan. Sometimes it just overwhelmes me.

I haven’t talked about it here but last year I was on a pilgrimage in Shikoku for 2 month. (I want to go back…)
I know I need to do something with my memories of that time. I was thinking about a little collection of comics maybe.

I was at the national museum in Poznań yesterday and saw the Józef Chełmoński exhibition that opened this weekend. It was really inspiring! His compositions were so interesting!
My father took a nice picture of me without me noticing and I really like it. 🤭

I had to get out of my room. I’m very frustrated, angry and impatient the whole time. And I can’t seem to finish any drawing I do. Nothing goes further than the sketch phase. 
Sometimes you have to treat yourself and eat cake. :3

I got myself some linocut tools. I thought long and hard what to do for my first print - some nice postcards I could print for friends - cats because everyone loves cats - but my head is just full with ideas for my #dnd characters.

I decided that my cat Latte shouldnt have a halo over his head in my drawings. He would probably return as a annoying little demon. 😂 So I drew a little sketch in my sketchbook and I liked it enough to add some digital color.

It is a chubby cat, sitting on his back legs and holding a cup of coffee in his front paws. His tail splits into two tails - like that of a certain japanese yokai - the nekomata. His eyes are green and his fur is mostly white, except the upper half of his face, which is brownish with stripes and his tails which are striped. One of his ears has a cut. His expression is smug.

Im working on some new characters.
Will I create a story around them? Mhhhhh I dont know yet. But exploring them and their world with portraits is kinda fun.
