if you use Ktisis beta testing ver, there are toggles in Settings > AutoSave that grab a snapshot of your pose when you get DC'd or when you disable pose mode. it has saved me several times!

honestly most of the dead dove tropes i like revolve around the core plot concept of "this weird guy (gender neutral) won't leave me alone but i can't be bothered or subconsciously enjoy their presence too much to do anything about it"
