Welp it was a good run I suppose, unless it’s a heavily vetted indie, I’ll probably just shift fully into old games irrelevance.

I unfortunately knew it was coming for music when gen-Ai images were a thing which is why I went headlong into studying classical voice and even got a nice recorder.

In a dm I used the word “imagine” and there was a stupid pop up saying “let AI imagine it!” Absolute trash tech.

I think this really is a good mindset. I do music because I can't imagine anything else. Do I think I'm going to make a bunch of money as a trans countertenor? Unfortunately not. Do I think our current economic incentive structure sucks anyway? Absolutely, but this stuff matters and capitalists suck

It was an amazing thing to just pop around town when I had an audition for grad school in town. I like DC’s metro, but the NY Subway is something else

Techwear seems really cool but I have a hard time finding things in colors I like. I look pretty bad in all black. (Also cry at those acronym prices)

As someone working to hopefully make conservatory work under work tuition reimbursement (gotta get in first) it would be really nice to have these available for more than trust fund kids, but also make sure it’s not just controlled by the whims of of some shitty billionaire.

Big brained ape gathers plants for food, starts to grow own food, which attracts rodents (generally bad although they’re cute too), rodents then along comes a vaguely baby-sized predator with big baby eyes.

I think we’re all health-wise fine when it comes to cats. We can’t help that this tiny predator accidentally evolved to be “baby shaped”
