I'm disappointed that the stand up for science website is using an incredibly fake version of the famous Earthrise photo to accompany the declaration... the terminator on Earth is running east-west roughly following the equator.

There's a copyright in the lower left corner. NASA doesn't put those on their images, so this is not from NASA. This is an artist's rendering.

For those wondering, this image is not from Hubble. It appears to be a GALEX UV image (www.galex.caltech.edu/media/glx201...) that has had some brightness/contrast/etc adjustments.
