How can one expect an informed vote by those who don't understand how the rest of the world works, from vaccines to evolution to climate science to tariffs?

I'm surprised at how cumbersome Google Chrome's update in Linux was. Usually it would be transparent to the user. Updating from version 128 though, for some reason, involves manual unpacking, sudo copy, chown, etc. Why?
