Screenshot of my notes app. The drabble is titled "Swap-ish au shit" and reads as follows: Jeremy walks into the living room, immediately noticing that his partner is on the floor with his pet. "What are you doing?" Vincent doesn't answer, instead just shushing Ville gently when he cries upon seeing Jeremy. Vincent has yet to realize the blonde is behind him. Jeremy just smiles as he watches Ville squirm in the others arms, reveling in the terror. "Hey, hey, calm down, kit. You're okay, big guy. I've got you." Jeremy simply puts a hand on Vincent's shoulder. He turns his head to look him, quickly going back to tending to Ville. "He's very fussy today." "Yeah.. He was doing so well today, too." Vincent says with a sigh. He suddenly chuckles. "He probably knows seeing you means nap time." He turns back to Ville, booping him on the nose. "You're so smart, Vills." He coos. Ville just frowns. He stands up, guiding Ville up after him, smiling when the other holds onto his hand as he gets up. Jeremy leads Ville away from the living room, the bunny mentally complaining the entire time. He can get there on his own just fine, he isn't actually a baby... His train of thought pauses when he realizes how easily that thought could get warped if he were to voice it, how the blonde would twist his words into something different then he had meant, how he'd laugh at him for complaining just like a *baby* would, how he'd- "Do you want to snuggle with Daddy for a bit, champ?" Jeremy asks. They're standing between two rooms. Jeremy and Vincent's bedroom on the left, and Ville's room on the right. "I won't tell Vinny I let you sleep in his spot, promise." He says with a wink. "N-no. Big bed's scary.." Jeremy somehow smiles even wider. Ville panicks as he realizes what he just said. "I- That's not- I didn't-" "You're talking too much." Jeremy interrupts coldly, any emotion he was putting on before disappearing in an instant. "You're supposed to be too little to say sentences, kitten." Ville shifts on his feet a bit, biting his lip as he turns around to look down at Jeremy. "Sorry, Daddy." "For what, sweetheart." "For- F-For.. wantin' to n-not sleep in your r-" "No. No. You're not getting it. You need to apologize for trying to be an adult again." He says, his voice amping up ever so slightly, a hint of something manic creeping in. His expression stays as that same distant cold blank one even when his voice gets more emotional. "You can't do that. You- You can't *think*, kitten. You don't change your mind and get embarrassed if you say something 'too childish'. That doesn't exist as a concept to you." He pauses, suddenly smiling again as he locks eyes with Ville. "I'm saying far too many grown up words, aren't I? Sorry, bud. I'll put it in a way you'll understand, hm?" "O-okay..." "You're too young to try and pretend to be a big boy, sweetie. You don't have to pretend the big bed *doesn't* scare you." He says, reaching up and ruffling a hand through his hair. "You can be in your crib. It's okay, baby." Ville just nods, fidgeting a bit as he looks down at the other. "Come on, kitten, I'll get you tucked into bed." He says, opening the door to Ville's room and stepping inside. Ville can only hope he won't have any nightmares.
