I'd call it partly several big media orgs of record downplaying how Trump II doesn't have the guardrails I did, and partly survivorship bias? Lots of people voted in protections on the state level, and decided the other consequences would happen to other people.
Survivorship bias plane meme. It's a WWII plane with red dots where planes that made it back were shot. They analyzed to add armor on the weak points, and almost added it there before they realized that all the planes that WERE SHOT DOWN were shot in the places they DIDN'T see, and to armor THOSE. Text: Trump didn't fuck me over the first time. Surely that won't change this time. It's a comment on the state of mind of everyone who voted for Trump's second term.

A cast iron wok filled with jajangmyeon, a pork dish in a black bean sauce with udon noodles. It's fucking great, you should have some, but you can't have mine, because you're the weird little people that live in my phone.
