As someone who is planning on doing a PhD within the next year or so, I feel it is important to ensure that academic spaces not only unpack anti-black and colonial rhetoric but also begin th amount of elitist structures that are still present in some of these spaces. #academicsofcolor

As the fall season approaches, I will say this summer have been used to heal, regroup, and shift what I want to see in my long-term goals both professionally and emotionally.
