i made her a scabbard too out of cardboard, fabric, and fake leather. perhaps when i come home i'll make her a proper one in which she can't wiggle

i'm not sure about this but looking at the blade, i'd say it's a Type XII blade according to Oakeshott's classification? i need to research that more.

also the tip is rounded for safety, so she's not as pointy as a Type XII would be

i picked the pommel, guard, and grip leather so she's literally MY sword designed by and for me :D

actually the leather was supposed to have crests but the artisan made it flat by mistake but i was too impatient to have it fixed

i picked a shortsword instead of a regular arming sword because

1) it was a little bit cheaper
2) proportionally to my height it wields like an arming sword. i tried waving one of those around once and it was pretty awkward. Nighty fits me just right.

her total length is roughly 75cm, the blade roughly 55cm, and she weighs about 1.150kg
