Patiently awaiting what comes next from Motion Twin as the game is still in early access so a lot can change!
The latter is mainly an issue to do with the fact that it’s designed more like Dead Cells rather than Hades, wherein you don’t choose a weapon at the start of a run and you are not stuck with said weapon for the whole run. This of course encourages variety so its not “objectively” worse or anything.

My main gripes so far would have to be 1) how most gifts don’t drastically alter your playstyle run by run.
And 2) unlocking more weapons will up the chances of the weapons you don’t like to drop in your run.
