Lenin giving recognition to Trotsky for focusing the need to train the younger generation in the USSR and suggesting that Marxist authors stop being distracted by newspapers and political twaddle to write textbooks on mainly social sciences so that the youth are educated and prepared to take over.
Excerpt from Lenin's works on State Capitalism during the transition to Socialism. He is discussing the need to educate the youth in society with new textbooks made by Marxist authors to rid society of old Bourgeois texts. Lenin remarks that "hundreds of Marxist authors" are too busy with other things that they don't write textbooks on all social problems and he believes that authors in the USSR would be better off devoting less attention to "newspapers and political twaddle" and wrote textbooks instead.
