Views my own.
Marmottan Monet had an exhibition on sleep ("Sommeil") which is full of little gems from less known and more famous artists, and where the curator made debatable labelling choices too. I could spend ages writing alt-text to share it all, so I'll just focus on a lesser known artist, Fernand Pelez.

The Marmottan Monet runs exhibitions showing one contemporary artist at a time "dialoguing" with Monet. Currently, they are showing Jean-Baptiste Sécheret, who painted at least 8 views of the beach in Trouville, with an angle that always shows my hometown on the other side of the Seine mouth.

And last but not least, and short walk took us to the Royal Academy of Arts, where the labelling job was even more wack (see alt texts), but Kerry James Marshall's art was just 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Then we walked across to the Radical Harmony exhibition. Post-impressionist artists don't need boosting as much, especially pointillists, and anyway all my pictures revolve around the bad labelling job from the National Gallery. Hello, multidisciplinary baby idea.

Starting with the now traditional day off on my birthday week to see Nigerian Modernism at Tate Modern, ending with the very current Will knowledge safeguard freedom 2 by Nigerian artist Uzo Egonu (1985).

I am sorry England, but what is this insanity? I didn't judge when I moved to a street that didn't change name when turning at 90 degrees, but this is taking it too far. We can help with inspiration if you need ideas for road names.

Terrible picture I took here, but the message is the key. Kathy Zeiler has a simple plan we can follow to walk the walk of changing how we publish #Metascience2025
