Before I became aware of AI-Gen images, I was eagerly doing my best to try and add illustration to my (now shelved) RPG project - I'm now never going to use this silly icon, so if anyone wants a rather low quality but human bit of RPG art, here it is, CC0 for free use, please take it for whatever-

I did it! with a few days of slightly more aggressive online presence, I persuaded someone to download a copy of CosmoCrawler to hit the 💯download on my itch account!

100 Downloads, and I've still got so many projects to release! These few are just the entrée - a mere amuse-bouche of games.

Well, it took an entire day (& most of a night) but I flipped beast-mode on & finished the dang game project.

Currently only visible within the game jam, but once it's finished I'll open it to the public.

I joined a new game jam on itch.io & am regretting it. Making another NEW game is pulling at my head and I have zero concentration.

For anyone interested, it's a themed roguelike no-win game- you play only to make the story, there is no way to succeed.

If you ever played 10 Candles- you'll know.

A slightly different view of that Mecha I made, still no actual name but in the rules it is now dubbed the Havok Striker, still need to tinker with the way my Blender Shader actually renders, aiming for a Battletech TRO feeling, but not there yet.

I wanted some artwork to add into the Minute Mechs rules sheet- I could have doodled a mech- I could have just prompted AI to make an image- I could have commissioned it-

But no, instead I made a 3d model to then render to an image...

Why am I like this?

It took about a month as I stared into the middle distance contemplating one single thing, but I think I finally cracked the single most important mechanic of my yet to be released RPG system.

I think I'm dangerously close to finishing it?!

With a little effort and a lottle swearing, I've forced Blender to make Battltetech TRO-like renders... here's the yet to be released Huscarl from my model and the original TRO artwork, I think I can dial it in a little closer still and I might tweak some bits of the model more...

Working more on rigging the Gurkha- I decided to ignore bone rigging and just go right into parented mechanical rigging, it's much quicker to do and I only need one or two poses, not like this is a game asset or anything🤷‍♂️

Any #Battletech people want a #3dprinting STL? ... Soon™ on my CG trader page
