Updating multiple social media things is hard. Cat rescue has been harder and there's been a lot of death in the last weeks. But here are some very sweet and healthy babies.

Some dopamine for the day: Angelus in his Juicy sweatshirt, which was a Christmas gift from Aunt Bentley and is his favorite piece of clothing.😂

Another friend bought me this celestial "book" vase that was on my wishlist. I didn't tell anyone why I wanted it.

My snow day so far consists of cat snuggles, crafting, and formulating a plan to trap two stray kittens tomorrow.

Fostering sometimes involves getting poop on you, being scratched, being bitten, having to replace area rugs. But the joys outweigh all of that. This glow up is just two weeks of living indoors. Right now he's zooming around the apartment so hard with Angel, and he's just the happiest guy.

I. Hate. This. Timeline.

It's really, really nice to pick up a found cat and have it result in a happy ending. Big thanks to the person who took him in and posted about him when he followed her home, and MSPCA Salem for being a landing space and trusting me to be the in between person AND calling his people a bunch.💖

Foster kitten adoption day! This is always the best day, if not slightly selfishly sad, because I always miss them for a while after. Lemon & Minerva have come so far - especially Lemon, who started as the most hissy, scared-of-humans boy. Now they're both lovable lap kittens.💖

My foster kittens go to their forever home tomorrow. Today they "painted" some pieces for Salem Cat Aid's Patreon supporters.💖

Plant nerd post: I bought. Reverted strawberry shake philodendron a couple of months ago, because why not? WELL, I believe the latest leaf is variegated?! We'll see as it matures a bit more (underside also has the pattern).

Heck must have frozen over because each adult cat in my house is cool with the new addition. Including my bitchy old lady and the spicy rehab that started biting me again every day over the fosters' existence (this has since ceased and he's back to snuggling).

This poor guy has no idea that he's one of the few things holding my sanity together right now.
