Yeah, I am. Can't complain. Chirp for memory stuffs, SDRangel for waterfall and scanning when SSB/CW, GridTracker for hunting in digital modes. TS-590 as transceiver. Very happy.

Sure, I will check it out over the weekend and send it your way. It's fairly well supported by fldigi and others so I am sure that information is also online.

Yes, over USB. Shows up as two devices, serial for CAT control and soundcard in/out for digital comms.

Otherwise consider putting the whole setup inside an apptainer or docker container to isolate it from the main OS version.

No idea as I am in the LTS 24.04 still but have you checked the usual 'ulimit' suspects?
