For 3 years I worked on illustrations of native plants for park signs! Now that it's been a year, I think it's safe to post. Here is Shagbark hickory, on of the many plants I learned was actually growing in my neighborhood after paying so much attention to online resources to draw it!

So this really sucks... on the bright side I started watching Heeramandi and feel extremely normal about it... I can't take screenshots so this will have to do.

(I'm trying not to use Pahotoshop but it's the only program where the colors aren't destroyed when I post on Twitter? Any ideas why the stuff I draw in CSP or Krita look really desaturated and yellower when I post them??)

I stayed up late with my phone in airplane mode so I could finish Alexander's Veterans on Hoopla before my service ended because my library ended it. Now I can make the most historically accurate two soldiers in love in ancient Archosia story ever.

I had a dream I was a nurse helping after a train crash but the only patients where these little pterosaur/sloths that we were trying to feed powdered milk to but their proboscises kept trying to poke through my skin

I wanted to draw some Achaemenid musicians but learned we know literally nothing about Achaemenid era Iranian music besides the fact that they definitely had music lol. This instrument appears in an earlier Hittite frieze so at least I know it existed at the time.
