At the beginning of the ride I overheard a grown-up say to her friend, “We’re right behind both the music bike and the bubble bike. This is the best day of my life!”

It’s a bit of a blur, but I think I even managed to stay on my feet, the bike just went sideways underneath me until I was standing on the ground. Fortunately, Rex’s fingers were in his lap rather than on the side rail, so he and I were more surprised than anything.

Sooooo much! And so did I. There are a zillion reasons a Carrie wasn’t the right daily driver for us, but it was so fun to borrow for a few days!

Rex and I were completely uninjured. He was surprised enough that he was able to move on from his grief about the Carrie.

I’ve never been particularly reckless on my bike, but I definitely ride more carefully with kiddos on board.

Hahaha, I miss her! (Don’t tell her how much I’m enjoying the Carrie.)
