I decided going vertical with Hustler 7BTV (6BTV plus 17m) and got rid of my EFHW. Result was amazing! First contact on 10m to Brazil #PY3PZ then RBN in Canary Island and Namibia, Africa on 17m. I haven't put any radials yet, that's next project. #hamradio #cw #morsecode

Got my hand on a beautiful used #ElecraftK1 2 bands #cw #qrp 20m and 15m loaded with ATU, NB & internal batt option for a good deal. Also got a 40m and 20m filter board for add'l bands. Selective and very nice sounding receiver. Perfect for #POTA #hamradio #morsecode

This little Venus SW-3B a #cw #qrp radio arrived today from #NAQCC swap, but the radio doesn't have a flexible memory cw keyer. So I hacked it using ultra picokeyer from #hamgadgets 😊and whoala..it's working flawlessly. Now, it is ready for my next #POTA activation #hamradio

OMY to Houston around 12UTC today, I tried to work @n4jaw.bsky.social on 7.0555Mhz on his #cw #POTA, but got loud S-7 SSB background. When I flipped to LSB, look what I got, the 40m Indonesia National Net on 7.055 Mhz. OMG 😲 really? On my FT-891 & #ATAS 120A? #orari #hamradio

My project replacing the old Cushcraft A3S Tribander with #Mosley Mini 33A Tribander (14, 21 & 28Mhz) and #Momobeam 3 6P (50Mhz) is done. Now I got 2 beam in 1 push up tower from #Spiderbeam Aluminum 10HD 33ft with #Yaesu G-450 on the bottom. I AM A HAPPY HAM 😁

Trying out a new to me LNR #MTR4B.V2 on #K1USN #SST today. This tiny gorgeous red #qrp #cw only radio is so quiet, but when a signal is present...boom! wow!..so clear! 9 contacts coast to coast in 20 minutes with only 5 full #qrp gallons. Using EFHW-4010 at 40ft. 👍 #hamradio

Taking my new LNR #MTR3B.V4 Currahee #cw #qrp radio. Tiny but mighty. Love it!! Low noise floor. I enjoyed my #POTA in US-2996 today for hours with no fatigue and had over 60 qso with only full 5w qrp gallons. Pairing it with Par Endfedz Trail Friendly by the lake. #HAMRADIO

I am puting my #QCXMINI 20m version on sale. It is QRPLab assembled with AGC and TXCO installed. Based on the test, it put up 6.7 on 12v and 7.1w on 13.8v. Power cable and homebrew CAT cable included. US CONUS shipped only please. DM me if interested.

What toilet stuff got to do with #hamradio antenna? 😝 well, I made a drive-on support for my 33ft #sotabeams mini pole from a 3" toilet flange, 2ft 3" pvc, screws & a piece of wood. The pole suports my #packtenna random wire 9:1 . #cw #POTA #qrp see toilet stuff works!!

I hacked #Yaesu FT-818ND with #SOTABEAMS 817 SSB/CW filter module. Result, it just like having 500hz cw filter. Eliminate the nearby strong W1AW cw signal 500hz above 14.047Mhz completely. So, oh yeah... no need the stinky filter. 👍
