just a little fyi bc i think my post might be a bit misleading: no the law didnt actually go in effect yet, it only passed the state senate, but if enacted, yeah it will ban a ton of anime…

It was very dumb of him to think siding with the party ran by EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS would help him PROTECT anime. Its incredibly ironic that after years of fearmongering about “woke feminists” coming to take your anime girls, it ended up being TEXAS REPUBLICANS who actually did it…

From there, they tried to spin a narrative that the left “hated” Stellar Blade (very obviously not true). Also, Rev definitely used to be a lot more accepting of lgbtq characters and content, albiet in more of a fetishistic way, but these days hes rlly anti-lgbtq for some reason…

Take Stellar Blade for example, literally everyone on the left loved the game, but grifters were so desperate they cherrypicked a singular IGN France review where they had ONE LINE mentioning how her clothing seems odd in the context of the story (Keep in mind the review was overall very positive)

Its exhausting as an anime and video game fan on the left who never complains about “hot women” or whatever he claims “the woke mob” is trying to destroy, because thats clearly not the case and is just a manufactured, artificial narrative grifters try to sell.

Idk if i just grew up a bit and gained the awareness to see through his grift, or if he actually just got lazier over time, bc watching him now its super obvious he is a grifter. Also he very often cherrypicks random twitter comments and tries to act like the entire left agrees with that statement.

i used to like rev says desu, but hes gotten way too political and only really pumps out anti-woke slop content these days. i used to like watching him dunk on twitter freaks with objectively stupid anime-related opinions, but now he just bitches and whines about “wokeness” and “owning the libs”
