Corso is ready for some good ol' fashioned orc oil wrestling~
Oiled up muscular Orc, Corso, wearing a kispet (oil wrestling pants) in a wrestling stance. Very shiny. I dont really have a lot of opportunities to draw oiled up bodies so this was a delight to do. It was really fun to do some research on the pants, and find ways to do a very subtle pattern on them that if i didnt do it, it wouldn't make much of a different to the image. I was asked to do some alt versions, and as always, i do like a billion files, making things harder for myself. Out of all of them i've decided to upload this one! If you'd like to see the rest, you might have to reach out to Gulo and ask :) I think the real challenge of this is to fit a beefy character with stylized proportions into a pose where a skinnier person has an easier time showing off body parts. Muscles do take up a lot of real estate. I went a bit hard on the rendering, even though i like a much simpler look to my drawings, but really for the oily shine i sort of needed to do multiple layers. But in the end, this is just a matter of personal taste, and there are people who might like a more complex rendering approach over the flat simple one. So, this one's for you~! Gulo is a fantastic client, and a pleasure to work with. I enjoyed working on this piece.
