I have been struggling hard with 3D models. I'm thinking I might try rotoscoping in the meantime.
Rather than modeling an entire scene, I'm thinking I might set up the 3D geometry and just draw over it in a drawing program.

I made some progress! I've swapped the brown secondary color for a more blueish one that I think looks pretty good.

Been poking at this new cat OC, and I think I'm gonna swap out the stripes for more splotches and spots. I feel like that'd make the design a little less noisy and add some cohesion to the pawprint splotches that I want to dot around on the fur.
