Started painting and weathering my Chocobo helmet. It's my first time painting a prop anything other than a flat color with basic shading. The initial spray paint coat was awful and it created a lot of surface issues so I'm trying to make them into happy little accidents.

Fully scrapped my old plans for @arcanekani.bsky.social 's staff LEDs. Switched to an @adafruit.com neopixel ring instead and it looks so much nicer. I need to even out the diffusion some, but the wiring and coding are basically done!

More cosplay! Cid and Y'Shtola were such a large undertaking. We patterned and modeled everything. 82 unique 3d models, 203 individual prints, and we made the shoes for Y'Shtola.

@dangerousladies.ca designed their Neo Kingdom Cane to allow the addition of LEDs. I modeled a plug that holds a LiPo battery and serves as a pole for LEDs to wrap around. Its secured with magnets and can be easily removed to be recharged.

Then later my partner asked who the frog was and I had to look it up.
