Behind every hit game is a system that worked long before the marketing did.
This is where we talk about how to build yours.

The games industry has grown immensely since its inception.

Now 1 person can make a game and release said game without the need of publishers, retailers, etc.

Engines like Unity, Godot, Unreal, and others have democratized game making.

Yet we still have not democratized game selling.

You start with a clean prototype and a solid plan.
Then playtests go well, people get ideas, and suddenly you’re adding more
A new mode. A new system.
Before you know it, the game that felt focused is drowning.
Most projects don’t crash at launch. They just quietly lose direction

I've spoken with many devs and studios. Everyone talks about shipping faster.
But speed isn’t what saves you..Adaptability is.
The teams that learn, pivot, and keep delivering real value survive.
The ones chasing output for its own sake burn out.

Store visibility isn’t a launch problem.
It’s a “keep players caring” problem.
Updates, wishlists, and retention loops keep you alive long after marketing stops.
If that system’s off, no amount of ads will save it: aesopco.com/games?utm_so... #GameBusiness #GameMarketing
