hard same. isekai don't tend to have a lot of depth... i don't hate a well-done one but i avoid them for the most part, these days, because most are just fodder.

Yeah YOI was huge, to my memory. I wish I'd watched it as it was airing but I missed the train on that. Even still, I've introduced lots of people to anime with YOI and it holds a special place in my heart.

I really wish they would have put their hearts behind it and released IceAdo anyway, though.

Have you read her YA? Book 3 of the trilogy isn't out yet, but it's way more complex, and it's super smartly written. It'll fool you for like the first half of book 1 into thinking it's a Normal YA (tm), but Pacat do be doin' Pacat things.

This is on my list to play. Some of my favorites I can recommend: Terra Nil is a breath of fresh air. Toem is a cute little indie photography game. Journey is very vibes. Evoland is very funny and interesting (sorta like a documentary about rpgs??? in a cute way)
