(Just speaking from experience in attitude controls here) there is the centerpoint of the chip which is likely corrected with calibrated offset values of ends of the ball, or the chip is placed in a pre-calibrated place so that the location of the chip on the ball does not matter

WA state is growing about as fast as TX, FL, and UT (as reported in the piece below). It's also the only state that didn't "move right" in the 2024 election, v. 2020. Maybe look at what they're doing and see what might work elsewhere. www.theurbanist.org/2024/07/01/s....

The audiobook version of Project Hail Mary is really well done, there's a section that is really done well using the audio medium. It's science heavy and follows the protagonist, not concerned with the societal impacts of its premise. It's overall optimistic and uses humanity's best characteristics

There are young professionals who also have no interest in learning how to cook and would rather work an extra hour a day to pay for a delivery service meal than spend an hour cooking and have food for multiple nights, if that logical arithmetic makes sense (doesn't)

I personally don't like giving my money to NYT but their coverage is vast and I like a couple of the columnists so I still subscribe for free via my library. I'm in LA county but lots of places have similar
