“A pilot’s business is with the wind, and with the stars, with night, with sand, with the sea. He strives to outwit the forces of nature … He looks forward to port as a promised land, and truth for him is what lives in the stars.”
- Antoine de Saint Exupéry

Stratospheric Sunrise …

“The surface of the Earth is the shore of the cosmic ocean. From it we have learned most of what we know. Recently, we have waded a little out to sea, enough to dampen our toes or, at most, wet our ankles. The water seems inviting. The ocean calls.”

— Carl Sagan

If you think of it like a baseball game, the amount of information we have to track this asteroid is like trying to figure out where a fly ball will land at the crack of the bat.

On that note; Season Opener for the Las Vegas Aviators is Friday March 28th against the Reno Aces ⚾️ #silverstaterivalry
Killer asteroid not coming after all:
Latest observations indicate that asteroid 2024 YR4 has just a 0.0039% risk of hitting Earth in 2032. But there's still a small chance it could hit the Moon. 🧪🔭

When you have politicians that are Scientifically Illiterate (can’t read, write, or understand science) this will happen. Guess they don’t trust the current testing up at the National Ignition Facility at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

We are fast tracking to the Idiocracy 🤡
Why it would be a bad idea for the Trump administration to conduct a "rapid" nuclear test
The goal of conducting a fast-tracked nuclear test can only be political, not scientific. The United States has much to lose and little to gain from a new test.

(Changing ‘scars’ to stars - resonates to a new visceral level)

And ‘stars’ are souvenirs you never lose…
The past is never far!

Did you lose yourself somewhere out there…
Did you get to be a star?

And don't it make you sad to know that life…
Is more than who we are?
