Dr. Rob Roscioli introduced him to the latest instrument development and ongoing lab projects on soil carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen, enabled by Aerodyne’s multiplexed probe system coupled with advanced laser and mass spectrometers.

The 2025 CIMS Users Meeting was held in York, UK this year. The four day event was held in the historic Guildhall. We had the second-highest ever in-person attendance with lots of talks, tutorials & updates. Others shared their knowledge remotely. It was a great event.

See you in Boston next May!

In the 2025 ASCENT Annual Meeting, Aerodyne’s Fangzhou Guo received an appreciation in recognition of “Outstanding Contributions to the Atmospheric Science and Chemistry mEasurement NeTwork.” The award was presented by the ASCENT Steering Committee.

Recently, students from Carnegie Mellon University spent an entire week at our home office in Billerica, MA training on the Vocus-PTR and the GC. Aerodyne scientists Anita Avery, Brian Lerner and Kirsten Zeller led the training.

Aerodyne helped plan & execute a ground-breaking study of emissions using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in collaboration with Gulfstream, FAA, NASA, & MS&T. Results demonstrate the potential to improve air quality near airports and the possible benefits of reducing the formation of contrails.
