It’s hard to tell the true colour of this because of the warm-toned lights I have. While the stitches on the underside aren’t perfect, it still looks pretty good topside.

Got a good chunk of this done at my teacher’s studio today with the other students. Not sure if I’m going to have enough of these yarns to go to the outer circle but I’m enjoying the process.

Having a play with some cotton cord I had laying around using the Oxford number 14 punch needle. I’ve ordered a full set of tools now so that I can do multiple loop lengths in the same size yarn.

I’m doing some experimentation with a finer gage punch needle and some cotton string remnants from doing macrame. I also have some fine jute I want to try.

This is probably going to be the last kit I do before I attempt a design of my own. Just have to get a few more bits and pieces together for it.

There’s a spray sunblock by Neutrogena that I really like. Never had a problem with it and it’s not all goopy. Only downside is the native bees seem to really like it which is fine because they don’t sting.
