Hi there, I am not taking any new work on at present but I do not think I would want to take on repairing another CD-i portable due to the scarcity of parts & my available time.
You could try contacting @retrostuff.bsky.social - they are the authority on them as far as I am concerned :)

All tabs nicely now due to the arm restraining nubs being outside where the instructions depict them to be.

Info was from here - I just used a precision screwdriver rather than pin pushing etc.

Resolved a slight tabbing issue when in bulldozer mode due to the slight pegs butting against the frame especially with the tracks tabbed.

Studio Series 86 Devastator
Just looked at my copy and, yep. Assembled incorrectly. Go figure. But! I just fixed it in maybe 2 minutes tops. And I don't have a pin pusher, didn't...

My only criticism has been the misassembly issue and having to resolve it. Otherwise very happy with it.

Solder mask needs to be pulled down so it is flush with the widest part of the finger taper. It's standard for cartridges produced in the original era and often erroneously forgotten about in reproduction and new PCB implementations.
