Only because he had Pam destroy all the evidence implicating him first. Also pretty convenient that he's having her launch an investigation at the same time, which would allow them to hold back any document and claim it's part of the "active investigation".

Splitting hairs about the definition of a pedophile while defending the rape of 15 year old girls is a wild take for a broadcast television host. I said rape and I meant it. 15 year olds can't legally consent to anything with someone over 21. That makes it rape. Stop defending pedophiles!
This is me at 15. I’m a child.
I’m a CHILD.

In addition to the overly aggressive hemp ban, the CR that opened the government also contains a provision to allow 9 Republican Senators to sue the federal government to receive $500k each in taxpayer money just because they had their phone records seized by the DOJ. That's textbook corruption.

They were obsessed with the files when they thought they would embarrass Bill Clinton and the Democrats, but now that they see their dear leader all over the files, suddenly they "aren't a big deal", or are "fake" or "taken out of context".

All MAGA Wanted Was the Epstein Files. Now They're Ignoring Them
For years, MAGA influencers demanded the release of the Epstein files. Now that 20,000 documents have been released, many raising questions about Donald Trump, they're shrugging.

If you voted for him to get lower prices, you got scammed. But don't feel bad. The grifter-in-chief has scammed many before you and will scam many more before he leaves this Earth. There is a well documented history of him enriching himself while failing to pay contractors and employees.
Prices aren't coming down. Trump lied. They started going up as soon as he took the wheel.

Don't be a scab. Don't cross picket lines. I'll be boycotting in solidarity with the workers.
As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

ICE is the new secret police that can kidnap your loved ones with zero accountability, even if you're a US citizen, even if you show them a passport, birth certificate, or other form of ID confirming your citizenship. No due process, no tracking, no transparency. Just state sanctioned violence.
This is America today. It doesn’t have to be this way.

It is alarming just how many protections have been smashed by the current administration. He is poking and prodding and testing to see what he can get away with, and so far he hasn't faced much if any resistance from the courts or Congress. We are witnessing the collapse of a Democracy in real time.

It's stunning to me that I'm part of the 15% of autistic people who have a full time job. I feel the effects of overstretching myself just to manage working 5 days a week. I spend more on food because I don't have the energy to cook for myself, among other basic functions of life that are impacted.

AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

The CR that reopens the government also includes an unnecessarily aggressive hemp ban that includes essentially all hemp plants currently available to grow because they contain tiny traces of THC. The more we learn about this terrible "deal", the worse it gets.

Maybe if Israel's response was more measured than carpet bombing the entire strip, this wouldn't be as much of a problem. But no, let's solve our problems by bombing everything. That's worked really well for them the past 75 years.

On this Veterans Day, I'm reflecting on the fact that our Commander-in-Chief is a lying draft dodger who kicked out 5,000 trans service members who, unlike him, were serving ably and honorably, after hiring a white supremacist, alcoholic TV chatterbox to run our military.

Being in a perpetual state of autistic burnout is crazy because if you handle it too well, everyone perceives you as being totally fine and it gets much harder to advocate for accommodations or explain why it's not feasible to regularly repeat an activity you managed to just barely tolerate once.

The last time Democrats accepted a handshake deal with Speaker McCarthy in the House, it was broken on their next budget bill. Now we are supposed to trust Senate Republicans to honor this deal with Leader Thune? Moderates blocked important parts of Build Back Better and keep caving to Republicans.

A 50 year mortgage plan would, on average, result in the home owner paying 4x the cost of the home over the course of the entire mortgage. It's not a way for new homeowners to enter the market. It's a scam designed to steal their money and funnel it up to hedge funds and billionaires.

We really need to do something about the President's unfettered, unrestricted pardon powers. They do not make sense in a modern legal landscape.

It shouldn't be news that the SCOTUS refused to overturn marriage equality. Yet, in the current political environment, our rights are in a precarious place. Marriage equality is but one part of a broad range of rights we need to be worried about. Don't let your guard down!
