i hope my very young (miniature) aerangis punctata that is sprouting its first new leaf as we speak saw how much effort this thread took and will give me a flower stalk this fall as a reward

intricate patterns, tinged purple. it’s shape cute, bulbous and round. its capacity to hold emotions, in particular love, is with its significant reservoir larger than you might initially realize.

taehyung:

encyclia cochleata
flower size: 8,75 cm

a unique and whimsical looking flower. bleeding borahae from its heart. with long, graceful limbs everywhere all at once. seemingly loves showing them off with some very wide, self-aware posing.

close second for jimin: amitostigma pinguiculum

jimin:

dendrophylax lindenii / ghost orchid
flower size: 3 by 7 cm

rare and endangered orchid. its lack of leafs makes it seem like the wispy flower is floating on the wind. even a little whisper of wind making it dance from its heart to the very ends of its petals. 1/2

close second for hoseok: paphiopedilum hsiny anita

hoseok:

paphiopedilum hirsulissimum
flower size: 10 cm

its flower shaped to the rhythm of music. the beat running through its spine. with its surface leathery and fancy-looking.

yoongi:

flower size: tiny, 2 mm

to see it from the other side you would be met with a sturdy looking leaf. change perspective though and you will be met with the softest cluster of flowers. 1/2

seokjin:

pecteilis radiata
flower size: 3 cm

showy, wide and frilly flowers. showing its extravagant side despite feelings of incredible shyness. peep the little yellow hands shielding its shy little fairy face all the while spreading its showy petals.

namjoon:

dracula chestertonii
flower size: 7 cm

very chalantly serves its insides on a platter for the world to see. unaware its insides have the most intricate, unique patterns and inspiring textures. all you want is to softly caress all of its tenderness left so vulnerably and bravely exposed.
