That’s a very interesting subject, given how miscommunication can affect relationships. Do you think the themes from this study will be used in further research to show differences in communication across neurotypes? I’m reminded of the book “A Field Guide to Earthlings”.

To take your question as face value, my advice would be to talk primarily to people who don’t have a bunch of followers, to be clear (to them and to yourself) about why you talk to them, and to be mostly positive and supportive in the first few interactions.

There’s subtle nuance in the vocabulary. Allistic means "non autistic", but it doesn’t necessarily mean "neurotypical". If someone is ADHD or borderline or OCD, but they’re not also autistic, they’re allistic, but not neurotypical, because these conditions aren’t considered typical.

Oh, I meant eugenics, not euthanasia, sorry about that. My reasoning: finding a "cure" to autism by looking at it as a disease is a dead end, so unless he makes stuff up, it’ll end up strengthening the effort to identify autism in the womb.
