i took these pictures at approximately 7:23pm from the roof of my building of the sunset fire which is as of 8:04pm is reported to be about 50 acres in size. for reference, these were taken at a focal length of approximately 450mm, or a 10x zoom ratio.

“good” air quality is such a joke- it seems ucla administrion has learned absolutely nothing from the last fire near the getty center a few years ago. we could see the fire from campus but classes were still in-session while ashes fell everywhere
