While I can agree overall with the sentiment, this "journal" is not actually a scientific journal, not actually peer reviewed and is just a wordpress blog that is primarily used to platform things like anti-vax rhetoric. Please evaluate your sources critically. www.chop.edu/vaccine-upda...

The Conspirituality episode on James Talarico is just so…I feel like they have such a narrow (even antagonistic!) view on religion/spirituality and its role in peoples’ lives.

I’m hand sewing the neckline on a knit romper because the angle of the V neck makes it awkward to tuck in the raw edges and it’s just easier to do by hand than on the machine. But ANYWAY it’s fussy - in an amazing way and in a tedious way, but even the tediousness is pretty cool.

I saw a baby be born (for the first time!!!!) this week as a volunteer doula at my local hospital. Mom was a total fucking CHAMP and I feel so grateful and privileged she allowed me to be present and offer her support.

As others have said, what is important to understand is that those of us educated in the order of the 20th century have got to let those assumptions go. It’s time for people to lean into the chaos that these rulings/regime create and use them to advantage. A politics of Tricksterism is called for.
Which means a baby born in New York to undocumented parents will be a citizen. But a baby born to undocumented parents in Kentucky will not be a citizen.
This is madness.

I'm training as a volunteer birth companion at my local hospital and the final step of training is shadowing a nurse on the labor and delivery unit for a shift. I finally got my shadowing scheduled and it's going to be on mother's day! How fun!!!!!
