Naruto [Dub/No Filler]
Riddled with pacing issues, and a lot of reminding people what's happened. The big moments hit really hard though, so that's cool.
I also enjoyed the characters, lots of fun and smart personalities. Adaptation just could be better, a remake of the story would go a long way.

Cotton Rock n' Roll
A fun sh'mup with great music. They added a lot of characters with unique abilities and special attacks here, but I wish they all had arcade mode stories instead of reusing Cotton's :(
I only got interested in Cotton because Kawase was in this game, but I'm definitely a fan now.

R.E.P.O.
Think I've played enough hours to give an opinion on this. By far the best mutiplayer experience I've had this year. It's a great evolution of the Lethal Company gameplay loop and simply a blast with friends.
I wish I had more time and people to play it with, it's just so fun each session.

I've been waiting for this...

Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective
I thought this was fine. The mysteries were pretty engaging and the main duo have solid chemistry. But idk, don't think this one left a real impression on me. Maybe it's just not my type of thing?

A Minecraft Movie
This doesn't take itself seriously, so I won't either.
I had a couple cheap laughs, but it probably wasn't worth the price of admission. You need to be in the right crowd to get anything out of this.

Dillon's Rolling Western
I never finished this back in 2012, but I fell in love with the main character. The game does a great job presenting Dillon as this powerful and cool character, but the game itself runs pretty poorly. It's also tough to play as a leftie. Was a neat tech demo, and still fun.

Solo Leveling (S1+S2)
I've been watching the sub and dub, and I think I have overall enjoyed the dub more.
I thought the show was fun, with a lot of cool set piece fights. But it feels like it's saving the more interesting story for the readers, and w/ no Season 3 confirmed that's unfortunate.

I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time
I enjoyed my time with this one. While I don't find it particularly remarkable, Alina is a lot of to watch in her day to day. Especially when she takes matters into her own hands.

From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated!
This was my favorite show for the Winter season. Kenzaburou is a treat to watch fitting in and find his place in the world. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Zenshu
This show really surprised me. It's a real great love letter to animators and animation fans. I adored the setting and characters, they really nailed that old fantasy vibe. Totally recommend it, even if it's a little corny here and there.

Junkestu no Maria
A nice short show. I tried it out because I thought Maria's design was really cool, and I think it payed off. It's 10 years old, but it really feels like an much older show. It's pretty mature, all things considered. Fun show about witch hunting in the 1400s.

Sakamoto Days
I really enjoyed this cast, honestly sad it's over. I don't think they've announced a 2nd season, so I might have to read it. Vibes were immaculate and the characters were a lot of fun.

The Day the Earth Blew Up
It's classic Looney Tunes. It was kinda nostalgic watching it, because it genuinely felt like Looney Tunes. Was a real fun watch, and it got some laughs out of my brother too.
Totally recommend watching it if you're interested.

Cotton Reboot!
A remake of a '91 shmup, with the original included!
The gameplay is pretty cool, allowing you to interact with the power ups before collecting them. You can alter the type of power up by shooting 'em, but they also diffuse bullets. It's neat! I'd recommend trying it, if it's on sale.

Strider 2014
Hiryu is just so god damn cool. His toolkit is awesome and incredibly satisfying to use to cut through enemies.
I really wish the production value was higher, because it's really easy to tell it's a budget game. Regardless, it was a real blast to play from start to finish.

Dragon Ball Daima [Sub]
A fun little treat. I kind of wish there was more to it, but I still loved the charm and whimsy it was full of. Action in it was really cool too! I hope they continue to expand on the neat lore it introduced to the series.

Crow Country
Love the vibes here. It's a short RE-like game, and it was a lot of fun. It's got good scares and tense moments just in the gameplay, didn't feel like it had any cheap scares. Totally recommend giving it a shot if it interests you!

Excel Saga ('99) [Dub]
I LOVE this show. It's literally nonsensical. But you can really tell they had a lot of fun adapting it. With the freedom to do whatever they want with the characters and setting, it's always surprising you.

Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth: Record of Lodoss War
Definitely the best game I've played so far this year. Highly recommend to pick it up when it's on sale. A pretty short Metroidvania (Took me 6 hours), but still an awesome experience. I played on Switch, but it'd probably play smoother on Steam.

Record of Lodoss War ('90) [Sub]
The vibes are immaculate. This show is a really impressive looking, and it's really neat to see how it could've inspired a lot of characters and other media. Even if the story left a bit to be desired.

Half-Life 2
This game was a treat to play. The set pieces still stand out, and the ways you can choose to interact with the environment with the Gravity Gun were really nifty. Map design had me a little lost sometimes and the story wasn't really holding me, but I'd still recommend it to anyone.
