Sigh. Had a dermatologist tell me the other day that the sudden onset of adult acne on my face that flares with my menstrual cycle couldn’t be hormonal acne because at 43 I am too young for menopause. 😐

I can sit through however many awkward throat clearing and foot shuffling noises they want to make to try and get me to leave first. Not. Happening.

One of the scariest moments of my parenting life. Desperately saying my then infant son’s name over and over while he seized. 10 years later, still can feel that terror.
