A former student creates YouTube content, so he has special equipment — a microphone, software that helps edit — so I emailed him the pdfs six months ago, and he has been recording when he has time. I am paying him in cash, dinners out, and the occasional bag of groceries. Wish I could pay him more.

I hand out paper course packs and an optional grammar work book. The pdfs are all in Brightspace, too. Next semester, there will be an mp3 of each reading so they can listen as they read. Yes, some students will listen to avoid reading. I’ll assess as we go.
