That pullout printer drawer is pretty slick.

The output from WGBH has been quite impressive. This Old House, Nova, Masterpiece, The French Chief. Not to mention helping develop and expand closed captioning!

So much of my childhood was seeing that glowing logo accompanied by some wild synth sounds.

In 2022 I found myself on a SEPTA train with an inside decked out to the nines for Christmas. Including an tree in the first row with lights, ribbons and ornaments. Also stockings, presumably for the train operator? It was quite a surprise!

Oh they're magnetic keys? I've never seen those before, how neat! (broken reed aside) Were they very common?

It's the best early voting location! But I'm waiting for Friday so I can get a spooky sticker. 🎃

They're from Richard Scarry's Busytown books. Big memory from my childhood too.

Gives you more storage for your Sony Mavica digital camera. It normally used floppy disks, but with this adapter you could take a lot more photos.

Family friend had one and it was pretty cool at the time!

I was originally planning on waiting for the M5 or M6 to upgrade to from my M1 Air. Now with the awful margins I'm considering buying a refurb M4 and waiting it out for a couple years.

Very excited for it. It'll look great next to the fully reconnected Grand Army Plaza.

I'm quite worried though the Adams will try and water it down like he has every other project.

I'm typing on that one right now! It's pretty good, though i wish you could remap the shortcut keys. I think the latest version lets you

There's another Think C editor patcher called PopUpFuncs. It doesn't use Think C's extension, but it does support its own. macintoshgarden.org/apps/popupfu...

"At a suitable transfer station." Isn't the point of asking for directions is to actually be told where to transfer? Not that I would *ever* ask anything of it, but I love the hand wave around the important bit.

Yep! This photo here isn't an exact match, but it shows the curved track and the upper walkway of Union Square. From: www.nycsubway.org/perl/show?11...

In one of the entrances to the Spring St C/E station. It's quite a large and striking mosaic! Very lovely

You made the right choice, if I was in your situation I would have evaced too. And it's easy to say "nothing would happen" when nothing happens.

I wonder what they'll put at Bergen St. Would a Queens bound G be show with the "inbound" F?

Yep. I had to use some Chinese driver to get it to work. But it worked pretty well once setup.

It really comes down to who they've seen the most.

I would love to see you bring back your blog. I'm still subscribed to the RSS feed, so will see any new posts right away. Better to keep your writings in a place you control vs something ephemeral like here ( I can't even see your old twitter posts )

Did a double take on the L train this morning. I like it, but the subway needs an actual geographic map to compliment it.
