When I topped the ice-covered Kebnekaise Sydtoppen in 2015, it was still the highest place in Lapland (2098 m asl)!

Since then, it has lost almost 10 meters! 🧊🔥📈
(30 m since the 1980s and 1.5 m since 2024)

And is now below the rocky Nordtoppen (2088.4 vs 2096.8 m asl) ⛰️
